Street view of three buildings that comprise the A. C. Reddish's wagon making business located at 2245 R Street. Three men stand in front several buggies on a snowy brick street. Several more men stand in front of the buildings. Painted signs on the buildings read: "Blacksmith & Wagon Shop"; "New Shoes $1.00, A.C. Reddish, 2245 R St., Blacksmithing"; and "A.C. Reddish, Carriage Painting, Horse + Shoeing, General Blacksmithing and Plow Work; 4 Tire Set $1.50; "Shoe set 15 cents; Spokes 15 cents." Although difficult to see due to damage on the negative, a child with a doll buggy stands in the street in front of the far right building.
According to Hoye's City Directory of Lincoln, 1898, Allen C. Reddish was a wagon maker. The man to the left in front of the buggies and the one to the right are in another photograph taken of the Reddish family. Signs on the wagon behind the two men on the left are partially hidden but it appears to belong to a meat and grocery store with the telephone number 325.
